Founded in 1871 by a prominent grain farmer, Turlock has evolved into a city with a strong school system, thriving business community, excellent healthcare and other metropolitan resources.
Home to California State University, Stanislaus, Turlock offers residents many of the amenities one expects of a large city while maintaining a small town atmosphere that is perfect for raising families.
Turlock is located in “the heart of the valley” at the center of some of California’s favorite destinations. San Francisco, Monterey, California’s famed wine country, the Sierras and Yosemite National Park are all within a two-hour drive of Turlock.
