The Joint Commission accredits Emanuel Medical Center. Joint Commission standards address organizational quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. The standards represent benchmarks of quality for each and every patient. Emanuel undergoes a rigorous unannounced survey every three years to assess our compliance with The Joint Commission standards of care. Emanuel Medical Center diligently strives to meet the high standards of care set by The Joint Commission. If you have concerns about the safety or quality of care, we encourage you to report your concerns to your immediate caregiver and/or hospital leadership for resolution. Individuals who have unresolved concerns about the safety and/or quality of care provided by Emanuel Medical Center may report these concerns to The Joint Commission.
