Our team of nurses and clinical support staff in our Critical Care Units are prepared for minute-by-minute patient monitoring during serious illnesses and injury treatment.
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) features leading-edge monitoring technology and a staff who have received advanced training for care of seriously ill patients. It is here that the most life threatening illnesses and injuries are carefully monitored around the clock.
Emanuel’s Progressive Care Unit (PCU) allows a step down from intensive care. While patients here are monitored 24 hours a day, they often receive therapy, are encouraged to walk and begin simple recovery exercises.
