Legacy Circle of Emanuel Raises Nearly $1 Million for Emanuel Cancer Endowment

Cancer patients and their families served at the Emanuel Medical Plaza are the inspiration for Legacy Circle of Emanuel’s recent successful annual six week fund drive.  When times are tight, faith in the economy uncertain, Turlock and the surrounding communities, were a shining light by helping raise nearly $1 million for the newly established Emanuel Cancer Endowment.

The Emanuel Cancer Endowment will be a permanent fund to support comprehensive regional cancer services in perpetuity.  Every year, the endowment will generate hundreds of thousands of dollars that will enhance the quality cancer services provided by the doctors at the Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center, and other partners and medical staff.

On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Legacy Circle leadership, I would like to express our gratitude to our donors and our steadfast fundraising volunteers for continuing to support and care about the viability of local healthcare in our region.

We are truly amazed with what can be accomplished when the cause at hand speaks for itself.  We ended Emanuel’s campaign on a high note!  Thank you.
