Emanuel Medical Center's 13^th annual Festival of Trees event benefiting Hospice of Emanuel will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2008..  The theme of this area's premiere event is Meet Me at the Copa…Copacabana.  Prepare to be dazzled as you experience the Festival of Trees’ vibrant rendition of a 1940’s Cuban nightclub.  An exciting array of silent auction items will be displayed with bidding beginning at 5:00 p.m.  A gourmet dinner prepared by Relish Events and Hilmar Cheese Company Catering will be served in spectacular style at 7:00 p.m.  Auctioneer Max Olvera is on board to facilitate a live auction consisting of 14 priceless and intriguing packages.  Our guests are invited to purchase jewelry tickets for a chance to choose from an exquisite diamond watch or an equally exquisite pair of diamond earrings donated by our friends at Geiger's Fine Jewelry.  The conga line gets moving with dancing to the live sounds of the Mario Flores Latin Jazz Band at 9:30.  During the evening, you will also have an opportunity to choose a freshly cut Christmas tree which may be retrieved from the Assyrian American Civic Club between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 7th.  Seating is limited and provided on a first come, first served basis.  Please phone the Office of Development at (209) 664-5180 and allow us the opportunity to assist you with your reservation.
