Turlock, The public is invited to the 8th annual Kool Kars for Charity Car Show to benefit Hospice of Emanuel Medical Center and the Parent Resources Center of Modesto on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock.

Admission and parking is free to the event that will feature hot rods, street rods, muscle cars, live entertainment, food and raffles.

The car show is a non-awards fundraising event, but will feature giveaways to the owners of the first 250 cars registered at the event.  Registration to enter a car can be made by calling either 668-1277, 883-0621 or 552-0358 and is $25.00 prior to September 1^st and limited to the first 750 cars.   A $30.00 registration fee will be charge for event day registration.  All entries receive two lunches!

Sponsors of the community event include the Stanislaus County Fair, Silva Welding, Wiley Printing Co., Inc. and Leon's Auto Upholstery. Hospice of Emanuel has been the beneficiary of the event the past six years.

Hospice of Emanuel provides a range of services to support and care for persons in the last stages of an incurable disease and serves the areas of Turlock, Hilmar, Ballico, Cressey, Crows Landing, Delhi, Patterson, Denair, Keyes, Hughson, Ceres, Hickman, Waterford, Stevinson and Livingston.
