Turlock—The holiday season can be one of the most difficult times of the year for those grieving the loss of a loved one, whether the loss is recent or in years past.  Emanuel Medical Center is pleased to present this year’s Coping with the Holidays workshop to be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Turlock, 1600 Arbor Way, Arbor Hall.  Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required and a $15.00 donation suggested.

The workshop will provide education, support and useful information to grieving persons for managing holiday grief.  The emphasis will be on planning ahead, dealing with losses during the holidays, accepting feelings and starting new traditions.
