Turlock - During 2007 Hospice of Emanuel will continue to offer the community a variety of support groups, for individuals and families impacted by the loss of a family member or loved one. 

All Hospice Support Groups have a $15.00 donation and pre-registration is required for all programs by calling Sandy Ricardo, Support Services Coordinator, at (209) 664-2550.

Adolescents Grief Class - for adolescents ages 13-18 who have experienced a loss
Classes begin Thursday, January 25th 6:30 - 8:30 PM, Education Training Room - East Wing
Facilitators: Gina Lima and Marisa Jones

Adult General Grief and Education Support Group - for adults who have experienced a loss
Classes begin Tuesday, January 16th 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Education Training Room - East Wing
Facilitators: Bridget Keller, Renette Bronken and Darlene Thomas

Bereaved Parents - for parents who have lost a child
Classes begin Thursday, February 8th 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Conference Rooms D&E - East Wing
Facilitators: Elsa Sherman and Bonnie Heath

Bright Horizons - provides widowed persons support and education.  Participants must have completed Emanuel’s Loss of Spouse class prior to attending Bright Horizons.
Meets the fourth Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30 AM, Conference Room C - East Wing 

Children’s Grief Class - for children ages 6-12 who have experienced a loss
Classes begin Thursday January 25th 4:00 - 6:00 PM, Education Training Room - East Wing

Loss of Spouse – for widows and widowers who have lost their spouse
Classes begin Monday, January 15th 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Conference Rooms D&E - East Wing
Facilitators: Diane Garzelli-Tate, Eileen Hamilton and Bev Moeller

Hospice of Emanuel is a team of professionals and volunteers who address the physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs of terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice of Emanuel service areas includes Turlock, Hilmar, Cressey, Ballico, Delhi, Patterson, Crows Landing, Denair, Keyes, Hughson, Ceres, Hickman, Waterford, Stevinson, Livingston and Newman.
