October 30, 2008

Turlock - Once Autumn twirls into winter the holiday fairies of Emanuel Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary will appear with gifts in hand!  The Volunteer Auxiliary of Emanuel Medical Center invites you to its annual Holiday Faire and Bake Sale from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 14. The Holiday Faire and Bake Sale will be held in the hospital’s Gift Shop, located just inside the main hospital entrance at 825 Delbon Avenue in Turlock.  Donna Bartholomew, president of the Emanuel Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary, says that proceeds from the Holiday Faire and Bake Sale are a large portion of the Volunteers Auxiliary’s annual contribution to Legacy Circle of Emanuel.

The Emanuel Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary Holiday Faire and Bake Sale was instituted in the 1960’s. The event has benefited Emanuel Medical Center for almost 50 years.  It is a grand tradition that kicks off the holiday spirit at the hospital.  The event features specialty gifts, unique Christmas items and decorations, candles, toys, and wonderful baked delicacies.
