Emanuel Medical Plaza
Emanuel Medical Plaza is located at 880 E. Tuolumne Road in Turlock.
The Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center
Suite 101
This center brings together a collaboration and partnership between Stanford Hospital & Clinics, Stanford University School of Medicine, and Emanuel Medical Center to bring state of the art cancer care to Turlock and the surrounding communities. Located in the Emanuel Medical Plaza, Stanford Radiation Oncologists and Physicists and Emanuel Therapists, Nurses and support staff are providing the most advanced cancer treatment options available.
The Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center has the Varian Trilogy™ accelerator, the most advanced linear accelerator available today. This system is capable of image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and imaged-guided radio surgery (IGRS). Very simply, IGRT involves the use of imaging tools to localize the area being treated, as well as verify how treatment was delivered to the tumor. By conforming patient and tumor positioning immediately prior to treatment, higher, more effective doses can be delivered to tumor sites with less risk of harming adjacent tissue.
The Trilogy accelerator also has the ability to deliver:
- 3D conformal radiotherapy
- Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy - IMRT
- Stereotactic radiosurgery
- Fractionated stereotactic radiation therapy
- Intensity-modulated radiosurgery and radiotherapy
Trilogy enables physicians to choose and use the most appropriate treatment modality for treating cancer, and to deliver the full spectrum of treatments all on one machine in a single room.
The Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center has made patients our focus. We've created a healing and peaceful environment that brings together the latest in technology and treatment. We have a sincere commitment to partner with you to fight cancer.

Ruby E. Bergman Women's Center
Suite 202
The Ruby E. Bergman Women's Center of Emanuel Medical Center is located in the Emanuel Medical Plaza at 880 E. Tuolumne Road, Suite 202 in Turlock.
The new center is on the second floor of the Emanuel Medical Plaza in a beautiful 6,000 square foot clinic space and provides patients with the latest in digital mammography with the lowest patient dose of radiation of any currently available mammographic unit.
This summer the Emanuel center will also provide the region with the first dedicated breast MRI technology, the Aurora 1.5T system. The new breast MRI system is ideal for claustrophobic patients since the patients head remains outside of the scanner.
Digital mammography systems have demonstrated improved detection rates in women with dense breasts and women under the age of 50. These new systems at the Ruby E. Bergman Women's Center also give physicians on the Emanuel medical staff the ability to remotely view mammographic and ultrasound images through the hospital's Picture Archiving and Communication System or PACS.
The center can also provide patients with pre-operative wire localizations, digital high resolution targeted breast ultrasounds, core and vacuum assisted breast and stereotactic biopsies.
The Emanuel Medical Plaza is also home to Emanuel's Regional Cancer Services, Stanford Emanuel Radiation Oncology Center, California Oncology of Turlock and Oasis Surgical.
