Visiting a Patient at EMC

Family and friends are a great source of support and encouragement for the recuperating patient, and they are welcome at Emanuel Medical Center.

We do ask that visitors observe our rules and visiting hours in order to allow us to provide the best care possible. For the safety and protection of our patients, we ask that friends and family refrain from visiting if they have a fever, cough and/or other signs and symptoms of illness. In addition, we ask that visitors are aware and considerate of other patients. The patient being visited may feel fine, but the other patient(s) in the room or on the medical floor may not.

Visiting Hours

Standard visiting hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. every day of the week and they may vary depending on the medical floor. Visiting hours are also subject to restrictions by the physician or the hospital, if necessary, for the patient’s welfare.

Mary Stuart Rogers Birthing Center hours are between 11:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. each day.

For patient rooms and visitation information, please call 209-667-4200.
