Emanuel Medical Center Promotes Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment Period with “Path to Health” Campaign
Dec 29, 2015Turlock, CA— The final month of the health insurance marketplace open enrollment period is January, and Emanuel Medical Center’s “Path to Health” community education and outreach campaign shifts into high gear to raise awareness and understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as well as the insurance options available for those currently without insurance or looking to change plans.
Through the Path to Health campaign, Emanuel Medical Center will provide resources to assist residents in Turlock-area communities with enrollment in an Insurance Marketplace plan that is right for each person or family.
Emanuel Medical Center will host enrollment-assistance events throughout January. The schedule is:
- January 7, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Conference Room C
- January 14, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Conference Room D
- January 21, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Conference Room C
- January 27, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Conference Room C
- January 28, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Conference Room C
In addition, trained enrollment counselors are now available at Emanuel from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, to answer questions and assist with the enrollment process. Through its social media channels, bilingual website and enrollment events, the Path to Health campaign works with community partners to offer educational materials and resources about the insurance exchanges and the ACA to help simplify the law and educate community members.
