Emanuel Medical Center Celebrates Employees for National Hospital Week

Turlock, Calif. – This year’s National Hospital Week took place on May 7-13, a special time for us to celebrate our hard-working team at Emanuel Medical Center and thank our employees for supporting the health of our community through their dedication and compassionate care. Without the work of our team, the healing that we see every day would not be possible.

At Emanuel Medical Center, we celebrated Hospital Week with special theme days including Music Day (wear your favorite music tee), Decades Day (dress up as your favorite decade), Hawaiian Day (Hawaiian themed dress day), Movie Day (dress as a movie character or wear a movie tee) and EMC Day (wear your Emanuel gear). We also hosted a hospital-wide BBQ, as well as fun activities throughout the week.

Since 1921, hospitals across the country have been celebrating National Hospital Week. The observance has grown over the past 100 years to become the nation’s largest healthcare event, providing an opportunity to highlight hospitals, health systems and healthcare workers and the innovative ways they are supporting their communities.
