Emanuel Medical Center’s Stephanie Childress Named a Tenet Hero

Turlock, Calif. – Aug. 7, 2023 – Emanuel Medical Center announced today that Stephanie Childress, RN, Clinical Manager in the Emergency Department, has been honored by Tenet Healthcare as part of its annual recognition program. Stephanie has been named a Tenet Hero for her outstanding contributions in 2022.

The Tenet Heroes program celebrates those individuals who make a meaningful impact within their communities and go above and beyond their daily responsibilities. Nominated by leadership and/or fellow colleagues, Tenet Heroes exemplify the company’s core values and commitment to its mission. This year, Tenet is recognizing 73 individuals or teams companywide.

Stephanie was recognized as a Tenet Hero for many reasons including for her leadership, her resilience and her passion for making sure our patients receive safe, high-quality care.

Over the last year, Stephanie has implemented numerous key initiatives in the Emergency Department that benefit both our patients and our employees. Despite some personal hurdles, Stephanie has remained committed to her responsibilities in the hospital. Her compassion for her patients and her colleagues has never wavered. Stephanie is a wonderful team player and remains eager to take on new challenges. She truly embodies what it means to be a part of our community built on care.
